Architect
As (Engineer) Architect you will be part of our Technical Support team, which consists of a dozen staff. You strive for an optimal management of the skeyes buildings by establishing maintenance schedules and ensuring their follow-up. You will perform architectural transformation, renovation or installation works by ensuring their follow-up, from their preliminary design to their final acceptance.
In concrete terms, that means that you will:
- ensure infrastructure maintenance (control towers, offices, radars,…) on the various sites of skeyes.
- you will establish maintenance schedules for all the installations;
- you will determine by whom maintenance shall be performed (external companies,…);
- you will draw up technical specifications and compare the received offers;
- you will perform the technical, financial, administrative follow-up;
- you will monitor the KPIs;
- you will draw up and perform the ISO procedures and ensure their follow-up;
- you will follow-up the statutory inspections and the obligatory controls to be carried out.
- be responsible for the performance of architectural transformation, renovation or installation works on the various sites of skeyes.
- you will draw up the preliminary designs and make calculations;
- you will ensure that the energy consumption of the infrastructure will decrease;
- you will draw up the technical specifications and compare the offers;
- you will follow up the building sites and participate in the coordination meetings with the various stakeholders (e.g. SOWAER, airports,…);
- you will ensure the statutory inspections;
- you will continuously follow up the evolution of the infrastructure.

- You will contact possible suppliers;
- you will negotiate on price quotations and conclude agreements;
- you will attribute a purchase file;
- you will guarantee meticulous knowledge of the market and the suppliers.
Candidate profile
- you hold a degree in civil Engineering-Architecture or Architecture;
- you preferably have at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- you have solid knowledge of Autocad (LT, Civil or Revit version);
- you have good knowledge of the PEB/EPB requirements; experience in the various regions in Belgium is a plus;
- you have experience in project management (from its design to its delivery);
- experience in planning permission applications is a plus;
- knowledge of special techniques is an asset;
- you have a keen interest in architecture in the framework of technical projects in a ‘critical' environment (air navigation safety);
- you work accurately and meticulously;
- you are structured and organised;
- you are result-oriented;
- you have strong communication skills;
- you have good knowledge of French and Dutch. Knowledge of English is an asset.
