HR Officer
skeyes is looking for a Director-General Strategy & implementation. As a member of the Executive Committee he/she will be responsible for planning and following up the execution of the skeyes strategic plan. He/she will maintain close contact with the other Directors-General and will carry out his/her tasks in close consultation with the Chief Executive Officer.
The Director-General Strategy & implementation will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Main responsibilities and associated activities:
- as a member of the Executive Committee, he/she will contribute to developing and following up the skeyes strategic plan;
- he/she will be responsible for managing and following up the skeyes project portfolio;
- he/she will ensure the follow-up of the strategic and performance objectives;
- he/she will coordinate the skeyes strategic programs;
- he/she will manage the activities related to managing the environmental aspects of air traffic;
- he/she will assume responsibility in crisis management and in managing the contingency plans;
- he/she will start developing the skeyes activities and services and will also participate in them;
- he/she is responsible for managing the Directorate-General Strategy & implementation and its various cells in line with HR strategy and its related objectives;
- as the person directly responsible for his/her collaborators, he/she ensures managing the human resources within his/her Directorate-General.

In accordance with article 174 of the law of 21 March 1991 on the reform of certain economic public companies the skeyes Executive Committee has to consist of an equal number of French-speaking and Dutch-speaking members. This legally required linguistic parity in the Executive Committee will be taken into account in the final decision.

Currently, the skeyes Executive Committee consists of six members, including the Chief Executive Officer.
The Chief Executive Officer, the Director-General Finance & Support and the Chief Operations Officer all have a Dutch linguistic background.
The Director-General Systems, the Director-General Internationalisation & External Relations and the Director-General Program & Project Delivery a.i. are all French-speaking.
The candidate’s profile (M/F):
The candidate has to fulfil the access conditions and must have the required minimum professional experience as well as the necessary competencies for carrying out this function.

Access conditions
- at least 5 years of experience in strategic planning;
- affinity with the context and challenges of skeyes;
- solid knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
Required professional experience
- The candidate must have 15 years of professional experience, of which at least 5 years in an upper management position;
- The candidate must also be able to demonstrate that he/she has experience in the mobility sector and more specifically in the field of civil air traffic control.
Required competencies

Developing a personal strategic vision that impacts the future of the company, combined with an analytical approach and a skill of synthesis.
- Thinking and acting on a project-based approach: prioritizing team efforts, coordinating a general workplan and deployment of resources, solving scope/timing and other issues, budget management and result monitoring.
- Know the business and the industry: being up-to-date with the latest trends/technologies/… regarding project management, as well as with the recent evolutions in the broader context of the mobility sector, and more specifically of the domain of civil air traffic control.
